Food is organic matter which is ingested to obtain chemicals for metabolisms and multiple nutrients. The verb used for food is to eat. In humans and many other creatures, food is eaten through the mouth, which is an organ used for 1. Eating 2. Vocalizing in humans, also known as talking and singing 3. Generating income for dentists and orthodontists, in that they work in tooth care
Teeth are (generally white when healthy) little organs made of a hard substance used to cause food to disintegrate through chewing.
All of the creatures that ingest food are animals. All animals are classified as either Herbivores, which means they only eat plants, or Carnivores, which means they only eat meat, or omnivores, like humans, which can eat both.
