Coordinate system

A coordinate system associates a unique n tupple (x1,x2,...,xn) of points known as it's coordinate for each unique pont in the space discribed by the coordinate system. Some common coordinate systems are Cartesian coordinates, spherical coordinate systems, cylindrical coordinates and elyptical coordinates.
