Generic frequency is a special case of Angular Frequency. A Generic frequency is the numeric value of 2π times any factor of ten. This means that the frequency term that defines Angular frequency will always be a tens multiple or division of 1.

Angular frequency is expressed by the formula ω = 2π f, where f can be any frequency. When the frequency value is a unit value, 1, or any tens multiple or division of 1, the numeric value will always contain the numeric value represented by 2π.
